Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave may not be on the best terms right now, but he’s still showing up to support his estranged wife during a terrible time!
On Wednesday, Edwin shared an Instagram video showing he and the couple’s kids — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4 — were in the hospital with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star as she prepared for surgery after doctor’s discovered several brain tumors. Edwin captioned the video:
“Thank you for all the prayers and love for @teddimellencamp”

In the clip, he told his daughter Dove that the armchair he was sitting on was his “bed” and “where [he’ll] sleep” while supporting Teddi in the hospital. So nice he’ll be staying even amid their messy divorce!! He then panned across the room, where the other kids and friends gathered around the reality star in her bed.
Later, Edwin shared a photo of him leaning beside Teddi in bed, praying in the caption:
“Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Teddi was taken into surgery on Wednesday to remove two brain tumors, and she’ll likely have to undergo radiation to remove three more. She’s been suffering from “severe and debilitating headaches” for weeks, which caused her to be “hospitalized” earlier this week when the pain was “unbearable.” That’s when doctors made the unsettling discovery.
Previously, the Bravo personality was diagnosed with melanoma in 2022 — and two years into her cancer journey, she revealed she’d undergone 16 surgeries to remove the skin cancer. She’s a fighter, to say the least.
What a scary situation for her and her whole family! We’re wishing her well and are glad to see she’s got the support of all her loved ones, even amid a difficult split from Edwin. That’s love.
