Throughout the tour, fans have received a bracelet that lights up in sync with Swift’s music and ‘eras’ throughout each concert.

The wristbands have recently fallen victim of shameless profiteers who are listing the coveted item online.

Swifties have found some Eras Tour bracelets on sale for up to $500, and are furious at the insultingly high price for a complimentary item.

The wristbands have been used by lots of touring artists in the past, including Coldplay and Lady Gaga.

Swift’s team would have made millions of these bracelets for her shows, including her concerts at Melbourne’s Cricket Ground last weekend.
Friday’s show was a record breaker for Swift, marking her largest audience to date with 96,000 attendees, but some of those present chose to profit off their experience.
Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Depop and other e-commerce platforms are littered with listings of these complimentary bracelets, ranging anywhere from $16, $30, $100 and even up to $500.

All the stars spotted at Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour shows
When the bracelets are given to concertgoers, they have a small plastic tab on the side that keeps the light turned off; when the tab is removed, the band begins to flash.
Swifties quickly figured out that if they kept this plastic tab and put it back into the bracelet after the concert they could prolong its battery life.
One Victorian attendee listed their tabless bracelet, which would run out of battery soon, for a whopping $500 via Facebook Marketplace, sending users into a frenzy.
“They were literally for free at the concert,” one person commented, with another adding, “I can assure you, no die-hard Swiftie would do this.”

Even some of the lower-market listings, priced at $10, received negative comments, with one person saying, “Who bothers charging for something that’s free and will run out of charge soon.”
