Tamra Judge and Dolores Catania agree that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is missing something — and that bringing Lisa Rinna back is the solution.
The two Housewives talked about it on the latest episode of the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, which was released on Thursday, March 20.
Judge, 57, typically cohosts the show with fellow Real Housewives of Orange County star Teddi Mellencamp, but Catania, 54, joined her to recap the latest episode of RHOBH, which is on its 14th season and second without Rinna, 61.
“I’m going to say they need Lisa Rinna back bad,” Judge said.
Catania agreed, replying, “Well, Lisa Rinna was the Tamra Judge of Beverly Hills.”
Judge agreed that was fair to say and added that the show is missing someone like her and Catania, who say what they mean.
“We’re, like, the no bulls— people that just get to the point and just say how they feel,” she said. “They say what everybody wants to say, or we say what everybody else wants to say. But it’s not being said. There’s that aspect of the show that’s missing.”
“But Dorit [Kemsley] is trying to step into her shoes, but it’s not landing as well,” she continued. “It’s just second nature for Lisa Rinna to call people out and say the things and make things work.”
The pair might want Rinna back on their screens, but based on her public comments, the Melrose Place alum doesn’t seem eager to return.
“I did eight years, eight great years,” she told E! News in February. “It was a great experience on many levels. I wouldn’t change it for anything, [but] I think it was time once I decided to go.”
“I liken it to having hardballs thrown at the back of your head and you not knowing that they’re coming — that’s what that show was like for me,” she continued. “I was good at coming in and doing my job.”
While Rinna may not be planning a return to reality TV, she’s kept busy with her “Let’s Not Talk About the Husband” podcast, which she hosts with her husband, Harry Hamlin. In the most recent episode, released on March 14, Rinna revealed that the couple has been robbed three times in the last six weeks.
“And one time we were robbed while we were on national television, live on the Today Show.” Hamlin added. “That was the third time. I was standing backstage getting ready to go on and all of a sudden my phone rings.”
