Sutton Stracke is clapping back at Kyle Richards for noting that she had never mentioned Merce Cunningham before the trip and suggesting she used his ash spreading as an excuse to go to Spain on last week’s RHOBH: After Show.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, Sutton, 52, spoke of her relationship with Kyle, 55, reacted to Annemarie Wiley, 41, being called out by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), and labeled Erika Jayne‘s letting go moment as “awkward” while also sharing her thoughts on Crystal Kung-Minkoff‘s apology to Erika, 52, and shading Kyle’s claims about Merce.

“I think it’s par for the course for Kyle, with me,” Sutton replied on the February 7 episode of WWHL. “[But] I want to say that I had an opportunity. My very good friend Trevor lives in Barcelona, and so when we talked about this trip with production I said, ‘My really good friend lives in Barcelona,’ and then I’ve been holding onto Merce’s ashes, not knowing what to do with them. Board members were like, ‘Oh, I’m at the Seine.’ ‘Here I am at Lincoln Center.’ And I’m like, ‘I could put him in my backyard.’ That doesn’t seem really very romantic.”

“It was a very altruistic moment for me. So it was not a reason to do it. I wouldn’t do it. I’m not like that,” Sutton clarified.

On the WWHL: After Show, Sutton was asked about ASA’s diss against Annemarie and where they stand today.

“Well, Annemarie and I were not friends when we started and I wouldn’t consider her a friend today. I met her and she kind of attacked me from the very beginning. So yay for whatever that association is that got her, but I’m not a part of that war,” she explained. “I don’t want to be a part of any of that. It’s just me and my esophagus here people. We talk daily and my esophagus and I want to stay out of it. We’re good.”

Back on the live broadcast, a fan questioned Sutton about Kyle’s potential apology to her, noting that she had said she was sorry for not being a better friend to Kyle during their visit to a chapel.

“I don’t think that I’m looking for an apology. For me, it was just about apologizing to her because I don’t think that I was a good friend and I don’t need an apology,” Sutton shared.

Then, when asked about Kyle not being ready to talk about her marriage issues with Mauricio Umansky, 53, Sutton admitted she expected more.

“I wish that Kyle had been more open with us. I think, personally, I was very open with a lot of my feelings this season and I kind of expected her to be more open with all of us,” she noted.

During Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Erika was seen calling out the group for their lack of support amid her legal drama during a moment of letting go amid Merce’s ash-spreading ceremony. And looking back, Sutton agreed with Garcelle Beauvais, 57, that the moment felt awkward.

“I think it was awkward. It was really a special moment for me and come on, it’s not a joke. It wasn’t a joke,” Sutton stated. “When she did her flowers out, it was a bit of a dig to us, but I really hope that Erika was letting it go.”

As for Crystal’s apologizing to Erika for the pain she’s caused, Sutton appreciated the kind gesture.

“Good. I mean, I think we all feel like, ‘Alright Erika, we had something to do with pain in your life. We apologize. Can we move forward in a friendship?’” she said.

Sutton also explained that Merce was in a Ziploc because that’s how he was given to her and recognized that she raised a lot of awareness about conditions of the esophagus.

She then responded to a fan who wanted to know if she believed the things Crystal said Annemarie said about the group being uneducated and shallow.

“I think that Crystal’s words got turned around. I think that Crystal. Yeah, I mean, she probably thinks we’re all stupid,” Sutton admitted. “We talk about dumb stuff. We do. So I think that’s what she was saying. I don’t think Crystal called herself a socialite. I think she’s probably one of the most social girls in our group. She goes out a lot. She goes to a lot of parties. She has the most friends. I think she’s the most social. I think that’s what she meant.”

Also on WWHL, Sutton said that while she is no longer seeing her matchmaker, she is still dating.

“I was on the Bumble this morning,” she confirmed.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
