Snapped: Simon Says at The Spotlight (A Photo Essay)

Launched by the culture-moving visionaries at Framework, The Spotlight is a 300 capacity gem in the heart of Hollywood – and the home of Simon Says, LA’s don’t-miss LGBTQ+-inclusive dance party. Co-produced by Andrés Rigal, Daisy O’Dell, Sean Patrick and famed nightlife photographer The Cobrasnake, event goers sink into a blend of new-wave, Hi-NRG, late-stage disco, modern and vintage electro, and early bloghouse. Simon Says has hosted the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Felix Da Housecat, Hot Chip, and more, with an epic 2025 on deck.

Special thanks to The Cobrasnake for the amazing images.

“Simon Says at The Spotlight isn’t just a party; it’s a reclamation of nightlife itself—a space where community, artistry, and identity converge. In today’s world, there’s an undeniable need for spaces that let us celebrate and connect in our fullest expressions. Simon Says aims to create that sanctuary—a place where we’re not just seen but embraced, where every voice, every beat, contributes to something greater.” – Andrés Rigal, founder and lead producer of Simon Says
