Singer Sam Hunt and wife Hannah Lee Fowler reveal baby news two years after calling off divorce

Two years after calling off their divorce, Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, have made an exciting announcement.

The pair is expecting their third child together and shared the news with fans on the Katie & Company podcast. 

The Hard to Forget singer, 39 and Fowler have previously welcomed two children, daughter Lucy and son Lowry.

“Both my wife and her sister have one on the way, too,” the country singer explained, “It is about to get real, I’m elated, I can’t wait.”

Hunt then revealed how they told their daughter Lucy of the exciting news: “We talk about it. We say, ‘Mama has a baby on the way,’ and we’ll point to her belly and then she says, ‘No, have a baby on the way.'”

The bundle of joy is expected to arrive in May next year and preparations are underway with Hunt considering taking time off touring to raise his children. 

“I’m hopefully – in the next couple years – going to take a break from touring,” he explained. 

“The crowds have been so great, and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they’re able to come with me… and while people are interested in coming to see us because I don’t want to take that for granted.”

The baby news comes two years after Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt in 2022, citing adultery and accusing Hunt of being “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct.” She was also pregnant with the couple’s first child at the time.

By April 2022, she had called off the divorce shortly before their daughter Lucy Louise was born in May.

After Fowler called off the divorce, a source close to the couple told People, “They are doing their best every day. Sam and his wife are continually looking forward to the next chapter. He’s just thinking about his family and what’s to come.”

The duo welcomed their second child, Lowry Lee, in October 2023.
