The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast has seen many ladies come and go. Some have been there for several years, while others, like Siggy Flicker, only stayed for a couple. However, she has kept an active public profile since departing. Recently, Siggy sat down for a podcast interview where she discussed her time on the show and how she feels about Margaret Josephs.

As RHONJ fans will recall, Siggy was a housewife on the show for seasons seven and eight. She has been happily married since 2012.

Siggy sat down for a recent episode of Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast. She had quite a bit to say about the show, and the conversation started with David asking if she would ever go back and be a housewife. Siggy says,I would never do the show. I’m not trying to get back on the show.

However, she shares her reasoning for opening up about RHONJ and her experience with it. According to Siggy,I’m just coming out now because I love Teresa Guidice, and Teresa Guidice was very kind to me for the two years that I was on the show.”

She continues by saying that Teresa is a loyal friend and doesn’t typically start drama with people. She’s not that person. She is not that person. Teresa will only bark if you bite, that’s it. That’s who Teresa Guidice is. She was always a loyal friend.”

The conversation then turns to Margaret when David asks Siggy about production stirring up drama. Essentially, Siggy says she takes issue with the housewives who will dig up harmful dirt on their castmates.

She says,What I have a problem with is the whispering in the ears, to see which housewife has no moral compass, that will go into the darkest places and dig up dirt that is harmful for the family. Hence Trout Mouth. Hence the roast beef sandwich that’s been sitting in the sun for 15 years.”

She goes on to say they were never friends, “The girl has never seen the inside of my kitchen. The girl has never had my phone number.

Siggy also expressed confusion over why production couldn’t just let her feud with Margaret play out instead of trying to amplify it according to her.

She says,Let it be. The girl showed up on the show with pigtails, saying she likes to put pot on her puss. Enough. Let it be.”

Siggy then adds that she didn’t like Margaret from the start.

There’s something about her that irked me from day one. She came on the show as a liar, she came on the show as a cheater. She came on the show with copyright infringements, she came on the show as the Vineyard Vine whale. Not for me. Everything in my life, I’m gonna own it. If I fall flat on my face, I’m gonna say, listen guys, I really tried my best, but I failed. It didn’t work. If you can’t come and show me your authentic self and you have to pretend that you are this, I’m such a successful this and that, I’m like, wait, what?

Regarding Margaret cheating on her husband, Siggy says,She just gave me the be gee, throw up in my mouth.”

She then claims that most of the behind-the-scenes drama happened because of the production company behind the show. According to her, she never had issues with Bravo, and previous cast members warned her about the company. That’s not all, she alleges that people who work for the company are having dinner with Margaret.

She says,They’re still having dinner with the roast beef sandwich. It’s still happening, and it’s not fair. It’s not fair to somebody like Teresa Guidice. Now, I don’t need to defend Teresa Guidice. Teresa Guidice, she is Jersey. You don’t watch the show to hear anybody else’s storyline. You watch the show for Teresa.”

The conversation turns to the worst things Margaret has done on the show. Of course, the first is the Holocaust reference. However, Siggy then shares that Margaret is the reason she left the show. She alleges that Margaret tried to reach out to her mother.

According to Siggy,The second most disgusting, horrific thing is when my beautiful daughter comes home and says my mother is getting DMs from Margaret Josephs. Margaret Josephs is reaching out to my mother knowing that these kids just suffered a horrible divorce, and they were young, and I have four children.”

She goes on to say that it was then that her husband said she needed to leave the show. She continues by saying she was in agreement because she knew they weren’t trying to make the show light.

“Once you hit my nerve, that’s it, it’s over. You could call me Soggy Flicker, Dave. I mean anything you want, but when you come for my children? What does she have, one child? She’s like a wrecker. Everything that’s come on Housewives since she’s been there, has come from Margaret Josephs.”

Siggy continues,She does not have a moral compass where she says you know what, I think this is going too far. I-I mean listen, I would be pissed off if I had a mother that was prettier than me, if I was not successful, if my plumber husband couldn’t clean out my shitty pipes, I’d be like, damn, something is up. She always tries with whatever she’s on, this and that, and losing weight and putting in those chompers. It’s not working. She thought she was gonna come into Jersey and be Teresa Guidice.”

Regarding Luis Ruelas, she feels the editing room tries to make him outto be coca puff.”

She then says that the people on the show are either doing it for the fame or the money. However, she needs neither. She says,I wouldn’t even have a cup of coffee with. I wouldn’t go to Dunkin Donuts with these bitches on a good day. Get along 5 hours a day for five months?  Casting for Jersey is the worst. Casting sucks.”

In terms of production and how they prepared her to be on the show, Siggy claims that they wanted her to be against Teresa. She says,I am letting you know, I was prepped, prepped to hate Teresa.”

After that, David asks if she thinks Jennifer Aydin is a true friend to Teresa, and she says that she believes that she is. However, Siggy also shares that there are only three icons in the entire Housewives franchise. To her, an icon means they can make money with or without the show.

“Three icons: Teresa Guidice, Bethenny Frankel, and Lisa Vanderpump. People who are so business savvy, that they’ll make money without the series.”

Regarding production, Siggy also shared a time when she and her husband were out to dinner and saw one of the big producers out with Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga.

She says,I never had dinner with the producer. But then all of a sudden, Michael looks at me, and he goes, I said, that’s the head producer that they’re having dinner with, that they’re so chummy with. Bam. Drop the mic. I said, wow, the second time I saw producers having dinner was right in my town in Englewood, New Jersey. Margaret Josephs, hanging out at her house, B-F-F with a certain producer or two, I know two producers.

Siggy explains why she believes they keep Margaret on the show. She says,You bring on a bag of donuts? You’re putting a little bit of lipstick on her, you prop her up, and you’re like okay, take the ozempic, let’s go. I get why she’s on the show. You need her. And they keep on having her because only one person will go into the sewer.
