Sharon Stone Says She Was “Removed” From Another Simple Favor Role

‘Another Simple Favor’ Trailer: See Blake Lively & Anna Kendrick’s Chilling Reunion

Sharon Stone would’ve liked a simple heads up.

The Casino actress said that she was supposed to be in the upcoming film Another Simple Favor—a sequel to 2018’s A Simple Favor starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, out May 1—but was dropped from the film without warning.

“I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly,” Stone commented on an E! News Instagram Reel about Lively and Kendrick’s appearance at the movie’s SXSW premiere, “for no reason at all LOVED it.”

The Oscar nominee’s apparent casting in the Paul Feig-directed thriller had not previously been reported on. E! News has reached out to reps for Stone, Feig and Amazon MGM Studios for request for comment and hasn’t heard back.

Stone’s comment comes after Feig did shut down speculation that Kendrick and Lively had tension at Another Simple Favor‘s premiere in Austin, though, which was amplified by Kendrick’s cryptic response to a fan question asking what it was like reuniting with her costar on screen.
