Few duos in electronic music have proven as prolific as Seven Lions and Jason Ross. They’ve now enlisted GG Magree for their seventh collaboration to date, “Darkness,” out via Ophelia Records.
The pair have expertly made a familiar sound feel brand new. Magree’s uplifting vocals and lyrics make for a catchy hook and the longtime collaborators have woven together an intoxicating progressive house drop. It’s a beautiful fusion of all three of their minds as they’ve crafted a festival-ready anthem.
Seven Lions has shown no signs of slowing down after releasing Beyond The Veil last year. He’s released tracks with both Kill The Noise and Above & Beyond, and dropped a deluxe version and a remix package of his scintillating debut album. Ross has also been productive coming off of an album year, making his long-awaited return to Anjuna with “Never Alone” and “A Place They Called Home.”
