Scheana Shay leaked a text message exchange she had with Katie Maloney amid her surprising hookup with Max Boyens after the encounter was addressed on last week’s Vanderpump Rules.
After Katie, 37, slammed her on the Pump Rules: After Show, suggesting she had tracked Max to be nosy and not out of concern, Scheana, 38, took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a screenshot of their communication on the night of the hookup, confirming that she did, in fact, check on her co-star.
“You weren’t worried about me. I didn’t get a text. She had zero shame about what she was doing while she was doing it,” Katie alleged on the After Show, giving a nod to Scheana checking Max’s location.
But hours later, Scheana fired back.
“Interesting….” she wrote, along with a screenshot of their back-and-forth.
“Ok so prob not coming back up,” Katie wrote in her first message on August 4.
“I just walked out … Txt me when you get home safe please,” Scheana replied in two messages.
“I’m home,” Katie later confirmed.
In other Scheana Shay news, she made headlines last week after insinuating on Pump Rules that she had engaged in an orgy with John Mayer, 46.
“Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland,” she said in a confessional, signaling to his song, “Your Body Is a Wonderland,” after admitting to having an orgy with “an A-list celebrity.”
Although John has not addressed her comments, a source told The U.S. Sun that he was “annoyed” that she discussed the matter publicly and “told several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana.”
“[He] wants nothing to do with her,” the insider added.
Meanwhile, in a past post on Reddit, which was uncovered by Page Six last week, Scheana was seen sharing a “receipt” of the alleged fling by way of a 2009 magazine article on her Snapchat Story.
Along with three laughing emojis, Scheana included an image of an article from Star titled, “John’s New Gal She’s 16 Years Younger Than Jen!”
“Scheana kept receipts and shared this 5 years ago #PumpRules,” a fan account on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote in the caption of a screenshot of the Reddit post.
Before his supposed romance with Scheana, John was dating Jennifer Aniston, 55, who was mentioned in the article, which claimed John had moved on from Jen and was “dating a model.”
“‘Star’ has learned that John is hooking up with aspiring actress, Scheana Marie Jancan, who he met in early April at a Beverly Hills lounge. Scheana, who turns 24 in May, served the sexy singer drinks at The Grand Havana Room — the same place where he celebrates his 31st birthday with Jen! — and John started chatting her up,” the article stated at the time.
Years before last week’s Pump Rules episode, Scheana discussed her alleged time with John on an August 2020 episode of the Flashbacks podcast, claiming she was involved in a “throuple” with John and Stacie Adams.
“We would go to his house in Calabasas or Hidden Hills, whatever it’s called. It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on,” she shared.
