Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse have been dating for five years now and are rumoured to be expecting their first child together.
The British couple have managed to keep their romance relatively under wraps in recent years, after the Twilight star’s high-profile relationships and breakups with exes, Kristen Stewart and FKA Twigs.
But on the weekend, Waterhouse, 31, appeared to hint at her rumoured pregnancy when she hit the stage at the 2023 Corona Capital festival in Mexico, telling fans she wanted to wear a glittering minidress in an attempt to “distract you from something else that’s going on”.

“I wore something sparkly today ’cause I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on. I’m not sure if it’s working,” she said to cheers from the crowd, before singing one of her hit songs.
She also pulled out of the upcoming Lane Way Festival in Australia in February due to ”personal reasons”.

”We were so looking forward to having Suki Waterhouse along to Laneway Festival next year, but due to personal reasons, she can’t make the trip to Australia and New Zealand in February,” organisers reportedly wrote in a statement, before wishing her well.

July 2018: The pair first sparked relationship rumours back in 2018 when they were spotted packing the PDA in London, their respective hometown.
According to E! News, the pair enjoyed a romantic date to watch Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in Notting Hill.
“Along the way, they were very close and cuddled and kissed many times,” a source told the publication.
January 2019: According to Just Jared, the pair were seen celebrating Waterhouse’s birthday with friends in London. Guests included the likes of Liv Tyler and model Cara Delevingne.
April 2019: Pattinson reluctantly spoke about his relationship with Waterhouse in an interview with The Sunday Times.
“Do I have to?” he said when asked about the actress and model.
“If you let people in, it devalues what love is,” added.
“If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends better.”
May 2019: Twilight star Pattinson celebrates his birthday with Waterhouse in Los Angeles.
May 2020: Pattinson told GQ he was still with Waterhouse as they stayed together in London during the coronavirus pandemic.
April 2021: Waterhouse shared a picture of herself in her loungeroom, and in the background was a framed photo of her and Pattinson.
July 2021: Suki reportedly fires back in a now-deleted tweet about the Gossip Girl reboot referencing her during a joke about Robert Pattinson.
“When are you going to get it? As far as the press is concerned, he’s R-Patz and you’re Suki Nobody,” a character reportedly said on the show.
Waterhouse reportedly tweeted: “Seeing critiques of the patriarchy and sexism, then I get name-checked as somebody’s nobody girlfriend. Make it make sense.”
February 2022: Pattinson told GQ that Waterhouse once spoke enthusiastically to a repairman about the DC universe – after he starred in the Batman film.
“And I’m looking at her, like, ‘Shut the f–k up. Why are you doing this to me?’ She was very entertaining. Just talking to an obsessive fan,” Pattinson said.
He then said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Waterhouse cried when she saw him in Batman.
“It was really her reaction that kind of changed the entire thing [for me], because I’m pretty sure she’s not normally into watching superhero movies,” he said.
December 2022: The couple made their red carpet debut at the Dior show in Egypt.
February 2023: Waterhouse gushed about her boyfriend in an interview with The Sunday Times.
“I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me. We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious… I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years.”
She also spoke about having children and said: “I wish you could click your fingers to make it happen.”
MAY 2023: The couple attend the Met Gala.
October 2023: Engagement rumours surround the pair.
A source told US Weekly: “An engagement isn’t necessarily off the table, but it’s not something Suki and Rob are focused on for the time being. They’ve definitely discussed getting married, but there’s no pressure to rush things.”
