Lisa Barlow‘s son Jack has been hospitalized in Colombia amid his mission with the Mormon church.
In a series of posts shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday night, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, 49, confirmed that Jack has been in the hospital for three days as she shunned the ongoing “lies” about his mission and explained if she’s allowed to visit him.
“I miss Jack every day — he has been in the hospital for [three] days and it’s killing me not being there,” Lisa wrote on December 19, along with a couple of red heart emojis.
Then, in a second post, Lisa shared a photo of her son as she gave a nod to questions regarding whether or not he’s truly in Colombia.
“Jack is in Colombia,” she stated in the caption. “Sorry to disappoint those who can’t control their inner b*tch and make up lies about where and why he went.”
Following her posts, Lisa was met with questions from RHOSLC fans, one of whom asked, “What did he go in the hospital for??”
“They are figuring it out,” she replied.
Another wondered if Lisa could visit Jack in Colombia amid his mission.
“I’m so sorry! Hope he is feeling better soon … Just curious are you not allowed to visit him during the mission?” they asked.
“We can get permission,” Lisa shared.
Also on X, Lisa set the record straight regarding certain challenges and potential rules of her son’s mission.
“I read they take their passports and many suffer from depression, anxiety, and PTSD after they return,” someone had said. “Somebody is probably right there when can talk to them. Also, read several comments from those that did the mission, mostly [cons] than [pros].”
But according to Lisa, “That’s not the case.”
“If he wanted to come home tomorrow, he could. He has private conversations with us,” she revealed.
