Monica Garcia reacted to fan speculation that she faked having family in Bermuda after they ‘canceled’ filming on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast trip.
She then clapped back at her estranged mom Linda, who slammed Monica’s claim that Linda caused the cancellation.
“I’m just going to say this…” wrote Monica on X, addressing the allegation that she faked having family on the islands. “Production spoke with my family in Bermuda. Communicated with them. Met with them in Bermuda. Went to their homes and visited with them. Signed stuff to film for my birthday and everything.”
“So people claiming I don’t have family there or it was a lie can continue to believe what they wish,” she added. “It will not change the truth.”
Her mom Linda reacted to the tweet, referencing Monica’s claims from the latest episode.
“Are you also going to tell the truth about me not having anything to do with them backing out?” wrote Linda. “Don’t just tell half the truth, tell the whole truth, so help you God.”

Monica then responded, revealing more to the story.
“Linda, I called you tonight. No answer. But I see you’re available here. On an app. Where the world can continue to see this dysfunction,” she said. “At that time I did believe that you had something to do with it. Which I told you, on the phone, a couple days ago. You then talked to me and showed me texts and we cleared it up and now I know.”
“However, that does not take away from what I felt and thought happened at that time,” she went on. “I was blindsided and I felt humiliated and embarrassed and crushed. However, I still have no idea what happened and why they backed out. There you go, your name is cleared.”
Monica also shaded Linda for not clearing up the rumors about their Bermuda family.
“You could have gone to Twitter and confirmed we have family there since people aren’t believing that, but this is important too. Anyways, I hope you can sleep better now since I have told the whole truth,” she wrote.
