Multiple episodes of Peacock’s Ultimate Girls Trip: Legacy are now streaming. The show, which stars Sonja MorganDorinda MedleyKristen Taekman, and many of our other favorites from RHONY, is a hit.

There’s already an online discourse supporting the idea that Legacy needs to be a full-fledged show. Now, while promoting the series, Sonja Morgan is opening up about how much she makes from Cameo as well as how she reacted to her daughter going Instagram official.

Regarding Cameo, fans essentially request short video messages from their favorite celebrities who happen to have profiles on the app. Celebrities typically have a preset price, and they promise to film and send the videos within a specified time. People often either get the videos for themselves or do this for their friends’ birthdays or other celebrations.

Speaking of Cameo, fans will even get to see Sonja and the other ladies filming their videos in one of the early episodes. There’s a really fun scene with SonjaLuann, and Ramona in the car, and all three are filming Cameo videos for fans.

In talking about how much she has on the app to US Weekly, Sonja had this to say, “I’ve got, like, $38 [thousand] right now.” In other words, she has this amount in her account that she could cash out anytime she wants.

Sonja also said that all the Housewives do well on the platform. According to her, “You never get less than $35 thousand a month.”

Not only is Sonja a huge star on the platform, but she has a stellar 4.92 rating from people who have purchased videos.

Kristen, who was also in the interview, chimed in and said, “It’s like a full-time job for her.”

After being asked how much she charges for a video, Sonja said, “I charge $99. I do $99 ‘cus that way, I can do a lot more … I like to connect with people.”

She also shared the impact these videos can have on fans, especially during the holidays. She said, “People are so stressed right now with the holidays and kids. And people get sick around the holidays, as you know, so I’m getting a lot of people needing a pep talk.’

In a separate interview with People, Sonja talked about her daughter, Quincy, making her once private Instagram public in 2021. She said, “I was scared when she was going to go public because I’ve always just wanted to protect her. Obviously, we spoke about it before she did it, but I just didn’t want her to get all the scrutiny that comes with being out there like that. This isn’t for everyone!”

Sonja then notes that her 23-year-old daughter is managing social media really well. Not only is she having fun, but she has become an influencer of sorts.

Fans can catch new episodes of Legacy on Peacock on Thursdays.
