RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga Addresses Reason for Feud With Jackie

Dolores Catania said the upcoming season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is “unpredictable” and “far beyond” season 13.

Melissa Gorga also teased a “big switch,” and she claimed it’s more about “friendships” than “family drama” – amid reports that sister-in-law Teresa Giudice limited how much she’d film with Melissa.

“[It’s] far beyond,” said Dolores of the new season in an interview with Access Hollywood at the People’s Choice Awards. “It’s unpredictable. It’s different and … you’ll see.”

“It’s very different,” Margaret Josephs added. “It’s a fabulous season. I think people are going to be very excited.”

Melissa then hinted at some differences.

“You know, it’s a lot about the friendships this season opposed to just the family drama,” said Melissa before teasing a “big switch.”

“People are going to surprise you,” she said.

Margaret also addressed her friendship deterioration with Jackie Goldschneider.

“It’s disappointing and it’s sad, and I guess she’s not who I thought she was, but that’s okay,” she said. “You know, things happen.”

Melissa – who’s also in a bad place with Jackie – denied it has to do with Jackie’s new friendship with Teresa.

“No, it really has nothing to do with that. I think, um, we drifted apart a little bit,” Melissa insisted. “But it had nothing to do with anything other than Jackie just had a change of heart on a bunch of different things and feelings … Jackie and I aren’t completely not speaking but we’re definitely not where we were.”

Melissa and Teresa, however, are not speaking in any way.

“No, we do not communicate at all,” said Melissa of her sister-in-law.

Regarding Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral‘s explosive fight in the season finale, Margaret claimed she wasn’t that shocked.

“They weren’t getting along,” she said, “so I think it just boiled over.”
