Melissa Gorga revealed which of her Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates she trusts the most on a recent episode of her podcast — and her answer will come as a surprise.

While also throwing shade at her new co-stars, suggesting that the newbies of season 14 weren’t their authentic selves during production, Melissa, 44, admitted that listeners would be “shocked” by the reveal of who she believes is most trustworthy on the cast.

“It’s weird because I think people would be shocked at who I say I trust on my show… [Dolores Catania],” Melissa declared on the November 9 episode of On Display With Melissa Gorga.

As RHONJ fans well know, Melissa and Dolores, 52, haven’t exactly been besties in recent years, mainly due to the fact that Dolores is quite close to her estranged sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, 51, and Melissa acknowledged just that.

“It’s not that you would see us cuddle up 24/7 or see us running around but if I had to choose to no end on the show, it’s Dolores,” Melissa explained. “We have a mutual respect about things like that…And that’s huge when you know that there’s someone you can actually say something to and then you say, ‘Don’t repeat this on the show to this girl or that girl,’ they’re going to hold it and not repeat it.”

As for the new Housewives, who allegedly include Jessica Kiraly, Kayla Giovinazzo, and Tiffany Chantell-Rosania, Melissa suggested they acted out during filming “for attention.”

“That is what a lot of [newbies do],” she noted. “People think like let me do something so crazy and out of my comfort zone that I would never do to like make a splash and it always falls flat because the viewers end up realizing that’s not who you are, you’re doing things for attention. You’re crossing your morals.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 will air on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
