RHOM’s Lenny Hochstein Sues Lisa for Defamation Over Claims

Lenny Hochstein has filed a defamation lawsuit against Lisa Hochstein following her claims of abuse.

After the Real Housewives of Miami cast member, 41, first said in an Instagram comment that she was “physically” abused and later posted an image of her bruised arm on her Instagram Story, suggesting Lenny, 57, was responsible, Lenny is seeking damages up to $100,000 and attorneys’ fees.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on December 1, Lenny filed his case against Lisa on Friday, denying her abuse claims against him, and said that while Lisa’s bruise was sustained during an argument between them, he did not put his hands on his estranged wife.

“It came about because [Lisa] as usual was yelling at and berating [Lenny] when he came home from work, as she did almost daily telling him how he never does anything right, so [Lenny] attempted to walk away and started walking up the stairs and [Lisa] walked in front of [him] going backward up the stairs so she could continue yelling in [his] face and [she] lost her balance and fell on a stair,” Lenny explained in his filing.

“[Lisa’s] lies of abuse are not a surprise to [Lenny] as [Lisa] stated publicly that she needs to retaliate against [her ex] for what [Lisa] claims is harassment,” he continued. “Yet [Lenny] is not harassing [Lisa] but rather presenting the truth which [Lisa] does not like.”

While Lisa has long claimed that Lenny cheated on her with his now-fiancée Katharina Nahlik, 28, he insists it is she who is the “real ‘homewrecker’ of Miami” and says she cheated on him with current boyfriend Jody Glidden. Lenny also alleges that Lisa was with Jody on the night he was supposed to marry ex-fiancée Rabia. Both Jody and Lisa have vehemently denied cheating.

In response to Lenny’s lawsuit against her, Lisa released a statement to Us Weekly.

“We haven’t received anything. This DOES seem like something ‘litigator Lenny’ would do as he’s made it clear he’s out to financially strangle me. He’s not happy unless he’s suing,” she stated.

Meanwhile, in a sneak peek at next week’s RHOM, Lisa is seen opening up to her co-stars about a dramatic encounter with Lenny and his mom, Marina Hochstein, at their previously shared home.

“I’m getting ready. I’m like, ‘You need to leave the room right now. This is making me uncomfortable.’ He goes, ‘This is my house! This is my room!’ And I’m like, ‘Wait, wait, wait. No, no. This is my room.’ Logan and Elle are right in the hallway and then Lenny’s mom is in the hallway and she goes, ‘You’ll be out of here soon. I never liked you. That girl’s gonna be a better mother than you,’” Lisa recalls, giving a nod to Katharina, who got engaged to Lenny in July.

“Logan’s like, ‘What?’ Like, looking around. You don’t say that in front of my son,” Lisa states, revealing she warned Lenny and Marina that she could call the police.

“They’re like, ‘Hahahaha.’ Laughing at me! Laughing at me! I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to call the police.’ I’m like, ‘I live here. I shouldn’t feel trapped,’” she shared.

In a confessional, as she reflected on the scary moment, Lisa told the cameras, “I’ve never felt like this in my life. I’m not a fighter. I’m not equipped for this. And every day I’m fighting to try to figure out what does Lenny have up his sleeve today? What motion am I gonna be served with today? I just don’t know.”

The Real Housewives of Miami season six airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
