Shanno Beador is said to be “sick” about ex-boyfriend John Janssen‘s new romance with Alexis Bellino.
As rumors continue to swirl in regard to Alexis’ potential return to The Real Housewives of Orange County, with the latest report claiming “nothing has been signed,” an insider has revealed that Shannon, 59, is disgusted by the fact that John, 60, would strike up a relationship with someone she has such a sordid history with.
“John knows Shannon’s history with Alexis. He knows they’re not on good terms,” a source close to Shannon told Life & Style on January 12.
As RHOC fans will recall, Alexis’ former husband, Jim Bellino, sued Shannon and Tamra Judge, 56, for defamation, requesting $1 million in damages, after they made negative statements about his business on Heather McDonald‘s podcast years ago.
“It makes Shannon sick to think that this man that she confided in and shared so many special moments with is now cozying up to someone she considers an enemy,” the insider explained.
As for Alexis’ possible return to RHOC, she reportedly received a “formal offer” for season 18 earlier this month.
“[But] nothing has been signed,” a January 11 report from Radar Online confirmed, noting that Alexis is currently “weighing the pros and cons of returning.”
“[She] doesn’t know if she wants” to be part of the drama, an insider shared.
Although Alexis’ return is still up in the air, she spoke of a potential comeback while attending one of Kathy Hilton‘s Christmas parties in December.
“I’ll never say never,” she admitted.
Then, after acknowledging that her romance with John would inevitably “start a little drama” with Shannon, Alexis claimed she had no issue with her.
“Here’s the truth,” she said. “I have never met Shannon, I have never worked with Shannon. I wish her nothing but the best in life.”
Amid rumors of Alexis’ return, Shannon spoke to E! News about her potential co-star’s relationship with her former partner.
“I’m not going to lie, I’ve been hurt,” Shannon said weeks ago. “I’ve been hurt a lot in the last couple of weeks because, No. 1, John said that he didn’t want to be in the public eye, and he’s thrust himself more into the public eye at this point. So, I’m quite confused about that.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 is currently in production.
