The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador gives an update after a long “tough six weeks” at BravoCon 2023. She also addressed where she currently stands with ex-boyfriend John Janssen.
Barely a few weeks after Shannon shared that she was focusing on “getting healthy” and “back to herself,” RHOC veteran is updating fans on her “positive” progress.
At BravoCon 2023 during “The Way We OC It” panel, Shannon revealed how her life over the last few weeks had been. The musician and mother of three college-bound daughters discussed some of the recent good, bad, and perhaps the ugly with the panel moderator Danny Pellegrino.
According to Shannon, the last six weeks has been “tough.” She intimated that she believes that she is in a “good and positive” place today, “going in a good and positive direction.” She thanked everyone for their support.
“It’s been a tough six weeks,” she said when moderator Danny asked for an update. “I believe that today I’m in a good and positive [place] — going in a good and positive direction, so thank you… and thank you all for the support.”
RHOC fans may recall that Shannon took to Instagram last month, telling fans that she was focusing on getting healthy and getting back to herself. She explained that at the moment she couldn’t share too much but she promised an “honest and authentic” update in the near future.
She concluded the short post by saying that right now, she was “focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself, and walking my dog, Archie.”

Fans may also recall the dramatic end to RHOC Season 17 when Shannon’s relationship with her boyfriend of three years, John, abruptly ended. However, the two have maintained their friendship in the wake of their split. Notably though, they haven’t been in contact as of late.
After filming wrapped on RHOC Season 17, her relationship with her boyfriend of three years, John, came to an end. Though they continued to maintain a friendship following their split, Shannon revealed that the former pair had not been in contact in over 30 days.
The reality TV star intimated at BravoCon 2023, that she hadn’t spoken to her former beau in over a month and that their friendship was currently offering “zero” benefit. But, she added, “I’m on a positive path right and that’s what I’m focusing on.”
