Tamra Judge is reportedly causing behind-the-scenes friction on The Real Housewives of Orange County after her sudden exit from production on season 19.

Amid rumors suggesting Tamra, 57, left the show after a “shouting match” with Shannon Beador, 60, and Gretchen Rossi, 46, or due to her heartache surrounding the brain cancer diagnosis of Teddi Mellencamp, 43, a new report claims production is “not thrilled” that Tamra has spoken publicly about casting and reveals if they’ll let her return.

“They understand there’s a lot of layers going on with her right now and if she does decide to come back, which it already sounds like she wants to, then they’ll allow it,” an insider told The U. S. Sun on March 11. “Tamra is in a more volatile state right now because of Teddi’s condition.”

Continuing on about Tamra’s drama with the cast, the source admitted that emotions were higher than normal.

“Her meltdown was absolutely intensified because of how unstable she is because of Teddi right now, at least that’s what people around her think,” the insider explained. “Some of the cast members have a lot of compassion for her and understand her best friend is going through something so unbelievably excruciating which in turn has been a heavy, heavy weight for Tamra.”

Although some of Tamra’s RHOC co-stars have extended grace, the source went on to suggest that some believe she’s “using” Teddi’s battle with cancer to excuse her bad behavior.

“[Tamra] is using Teddi’s health crisis to put a band-aid on her bad behavior and to dismiss certain comments she’s made that led to their tense talk which then led to Tamra storming off the show,” the insider shared. “Her overreaction, according to her, is a mix of also having a difficult time processing what is going on with Teddi. Tamra is very sensitive right now.”

As Tamra’s return to RHOC remains unconfirmed, she’s been focusing on her mental health and recently shared a post on her Instagram Story of “Therapy Time” along with Jelly Roll’s “I Am Not Okay.”

Then, in a second post, Tamra included a message from Instagram’s Power of Positivity.

“You’re about to overcome something you’ve been dealing with. Your mind and heart will soon be at peace again. Be patient. Everything will be okay,” it read.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
