RHOBH star Crystal Kung Minkoff took a recent opportunity to shade certain Real Housewives for being “rude” at BravoCon 2023.
The 39-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star even went so far as to share which cast members were unfriendly during the Bravo event.
When asked who she thought was the most different off-camera from their on-camera persona, Crystal named Erika Jayne. The entrepreneur was also asked, “Who is the bigger b—ch, Team Kyle [Richards] or Team Sutton [Stracke]?” She replied, “I’m gonna be Team Kyle. I love Sutton. Sutton’s my girl. But in this – that moment, I’ll be Team Kyle.”
Then she told E! News hosts, Justin Sylvester and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, regarding the rude people at BravoCon, “There were so many,” adding, “It’s shocking. I’m not gonna say names, but New York.”
When she was asked which between the original cast of The Real Housewives of New York or the new season 14 cast, she shaded both as “rude.”
Over on Instagram, Real Housewives fans gave a huge response on both sides of the aisle. One fan was quick to defend the New Yorkers, commenting, “I mean New Yorkers are just blunt, I’m not sure it was them being intentionally rude, especially with Crystal’s track record with triggering words. (I still lovvvvvve crystal) but I can’t feel a certain way until I know what/how/who.”
Another fan commented with a more mixed bag, writing, “This what I’ve heard but not sure it’s true but supposedly LuAnn [de Lesseps], Kelly B [Bensimon], and Ubah [Hassan] weren’t always nice. I heard from some people that went to Ubah that she was really nice at some points and then other points was standoffish.“
The fan continued, “But LuAnn and Kelly B were supposedly not the nicest. I’ve just heard from people that there are a big handful of Bravolebs that aren’t super nice and Vanderpump Rules has the most of them. Casts that were supposedly really nice were Dubai, Salt Lake, both Summer Houses and Atlanta.”
Since Crystal neglected to name names, many fans speculated about who she may have been referring to, with one fan writing, “If we check who she follows. She follows Jessel, and Brynn from New New York, for Old NEW York she follows Luann, Dorinda. I would say Erin [Lichy], Sai [de Silva], and Kelly [Bensimon] are the ones.”
Another speculated, “I’m gonna go with Ramona (because Crystal isn’t a blonde white woman, so Ramona [Singer] wouldn’t care) and Sai (because she seems haughty and aloof) or Erin (because she strikes me as a younger, less obtuse Ramona).”
