Kim Zolciak spoke of self-care and letting go amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday.

As the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 45, also teased a new show coming “sooner than you think” and shared her goals for the New Year, an attorney for Kroy, 38, explained why he opted against giving his kids gifts for Christmas and shaded Kim’s many online sales of her and Kroy’s belongings.

On December 28, after asking her fans and followers if they had New Year’s resolutions, Kim responded to someone who said they were getting back to church and embarking on better sleeping and eating habits.

“SELF CARE IS SO IMPORTANT. I think sometimes it almost makes you feel as though you are being selfish … BUT it’s necessary to be the best version of yourself,” Kim wrote, along with two red heart emojis.

In another post shared on her Instagram Story, Kim revealed her own New Year’s resolutions.

“I loved all your answers/questions,” she wrote. “[Some] of my goals for 2024 are … Trusting in the process … Being more present … Less worrying … Letting go of things that no longer serve me … Surrounding myself with amazing people who are willing to grow and learn with me … Being more open to the possibilities … And so many more but [I’m] going to keep these close to my heart and will watch them unfold first before I share.”

As Kim looks ahead to the New Year, and her apparent new show, Kroy is focused on spending quality time with their kids, including their four youngest, Kroy “KJ” Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 10, and Kim’s oldest daughters, Brielle Biermann, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 22, who he adopted in 2013.

In fact, as Kim showered them with presents for Christmas, he chose not to invest in gifts.

“Kroy did not buy gifts, a.k.a, ‘stuff’ for the children,” Kroy’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, told Us Weekly on December 27. “He didn’t sell purses, shoes, or wigs to get cash to turn into material goods; no argument, that was all Kim.”

“What Kroy did give to his children for Christmas was his TIME and undivided attention,” the attorney continued. “He took his children to church and then he cooked a big dinner for the family. Kroy gave his children the gift of time and Christmas memories, not just more stuff. Once the children opened the presents, Kim spent the rest of the day in her living space in the basement.”
