RHOA Alums Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann Get Trial Date
The divorce between former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann feels like it has been going on forever at this point. However, the end is near as there has been a date set for their trial in the event the couple can’t come to an agreement. Additionally, they have been given more time to avoid foreclosure to try and find a buyer for their Atlanta mansion.
Fans will recall that it was only last May when Kim filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. Since then, there has been nonstop drama between the two with the police being called on multiple occasions.
They are also both strapped for cash, and she has taken to selling off her luxury items online. Kim and Kroy also previously called off their divorce, but the reunion was only temporary.
Now, according to TMZ, there is a date set for their divorce trial to hopefully put an end to the drama. The outlet has obtained court documents that say the trial will take place on November 5 and 6 at Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court.
However, they still have a chance to come to a divorce settlement, and the courts are giving them until September 25.
The couple also recently received a bit of good news regarding their home. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, they now have an additional 90 days to find a buyer to avoid the home going into foreclosure.
Truist is the bank Kim and Kroy have the mortgage with. It has been on sale for $4.5 million since January. Before that, the couple was seeking $5.5 million, but they originally wanted $6 million.
The home in question has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It also includes a heated pool, a private basketball court, and a walk-in wine cellar. There is no word on whether Kim and Kroy plan to lower the price even more to attract more buyers.
