By now, most Real Housewives of New York fans are aware that former cast member Leah McSweeney is suing Andy Cohen and Bravo for discrimination and its workplace culture. Additionally, she’s making some rather damning allegations about the WWHL host. Now, some Housewives are coming out in support of Andy.

However, some people recall the fact that comedian Kathy Griffin, who once had a show on Bravo as well as several comedy specials, called the late-night host out for similar behavior.

Recently, Luann de Lesseps talked to TMZ about the matter. Of course, Luann was on RHONY with Leah.

Luann said, “I can’t speak for Leah. I can only say my experience. Part of the Housewives is parties, and of course, there’s drinking involved, but it’s not like someone forced her to drink. You can’t force someone to drink something. You have to be the person who picks up the drink. “

Luann then admits that she knows it can be difficult for people who have or have had substance abuse problems. However, she feels that each person is responsible for themselves.

She sums it up by saying, “I can’t agree that she was forced to drink.”

Luann then specifically addresses the allegations against Andy. She says, “I’ve known Andy for years, and it’s not in his character, and I’ve never ever seen in the years that I’ve been doing Housewives any drug abuse.”

Luann also said that if a person has to have a drink to have fun, they shouldn’t be on Housewives.

Dorinda Medley also supported Andy against the lawsuit. For her, she wonders why Leah decided to do RHUGT and wanted to return to RHONY if the situation was so bad. She also said that she has had positive experiences with Andy and wants to do Housewives again. Additionally, she says that people have to own up to their actions.

TMZ also talked to Cynthia Bailey. She echoed similar sentiments about Andy and said she was never forced to drink while on RHOA or RHUGT. She also says she has never seen him do cocaine nor has he ever offered it to her.

For context, part of Leah’s lawsuit alleges that Andy frequently offers the drug to Bravolebrities and gives “favorable edits” to the ones who do it with him.

Overall, it seems this saga involving Andy, Brandi, Bravo, and now Leah won’t be going away anytime soon.
