Quad Webb Talks Being Iced Out of Married to Medicine, & Mariah

Married To Medicine is in full swing this season and is quite controversial. As fans know, the latest episode of the show saw Quad Webb being asked to leave the trip because the ladies felt no emotional bond with her.

Of course, this essentially means that she is no longer on the show. Now, she is speaking out about her experiences on the show and calling out some of her former cast members for not being truthful.

As fans know, Quad had previously hinted online about not being a part of the show in the very near future. In fact, she confirmed to a fan at the time that she only had two episodes left. However, she should also show up in the season finale of Married To Medicine.

Now, Quad is opening up to reality TV producer Carlos King on YouTube and discussing the season as well as how she feels about the ladies.

First, she discussed being iced out by the ladies.

“It’s tough,” she said, admitting she felt ganged up on. “[It was] a complete ambush. … At every single turn, they shut me down. It’s like, if I wasn’t saying what they wanted me to say, then they didn’t want to hear it. It was very disheartening. It was almost like everyone knew what was about to happen, everyone was in on it, except me.”

Quad also admitted she can “see now” how former friend Mariah Huq must have felt after she was iced out of the show seasons ago.

Although she does deny having a role in getting Mariah off the show.

“Well, I would never want to push anyone anywhere but to greatness. I think sometimes we have to do a self-reflection. I just could remember one time Mariah saying, ‘Y’all not married to medicine. Y’all married to Mariah.’ And that was hurtful,” shared Quad. “That was hurtful, and I’m your friend. And I got your back and we gon go the long way. That was my heart posture, and that was my mentality at the time.”

One of the most significant parts of the interview came when Quad discussed how she felt about her ex-husband being brought onto the show with his finance(now wife.)

According to Quad, she started to see pictures of Sweet Tea with the cast of the show. However, their joining the show was confirmed “on social media” when she found out at the same time as the fans.

Quad goes on to discuss feeling disrespected by the producers after having been one of the OGs on the show and having contributed so much. She also felt that her contract should have had certain “concessions” given the situation with her EX joining the show.

She also discussed how Phaedra got on the show. According to Quad, she had a Zoom call with casting where they asked her about Phaedra. She goes on to say that she told them she feels that “Phaedra understands TV.” She then discussed how they were intended to be closer on the show than they actually were. However, Quad then says that she and the rest of the ladies, “never met” Phaedra’s doctor boyfriend, but knew that he existed.

Quad also discussed some of what Dr. Heavenly said in her YouTube Live with Carlos. In discussing rumors that she said she was “only there for a check,” Quad says that she never said or felt that way. She also took issue with Heavenly over her saying that she “goes to Africa with the Atlanta housewives to find men.” According to Quad, that is completely false despite her having friendships with some of the RHOA ladies.

Quad also said that both Porsha and Drew reached out due to the casting issues with Married To Medicine.
