Police: Man shot in Warner Robins after fight

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A fight between two Warner Robins men ended with one of them shot Tuesday, according to a press release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

They say officers responded to a scene in the 200 block of Randy Circle just after 8 p.m. That is in a subdivision just off of Russell Parkway, and not far from the intersection of Russell Parkway and Corder Road.

They say a fight between 33-year-old Aundre Pope and a 35-year-old man ended with gunfire ringing out. During the dispute, Pope was shot during the fight.

He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, and his condition is unclear at this time, the release said.

The Warner Robins Police Department says that the 35-year-old has not been arrested, and no one has been charged yet.

When asked whether the 35-year-old man was the one who shot Pope, the Warner Robins Police said that they were unable to provide any more details.

The investigation is ongoing.
