Parker McCollum and wife Hallie Ray Light welcome first child together, a baby boy named Major
Country singer Parker McCollum has welcomed his first baby with wife, Hallie Ray Light.
The Burn It Down singer took to Instagram to share the exciting news in a joint post with Light.
“Major Yancey Tyler McCollum. 8/8/24,” they captioned the post which included several images of them in hospital with their baby boy.

The comments section was flooded with congratulations from fans and fellow country stars.
“HALLIE, Why do you like a damn model after giving birth. I mean WOW!!! Congrats to y’all both! Can’t wait to meet baby major,” wrote Just About Over You singer Priscilla Block.
Country sweetheart Megan Moroney added, ”Congrats yall!!!!!”
And even McCollum left a message for his wife and newborn son in the comments section.
“Mom & Dad forever,” he wrote. “I love you Hallie Ray and I love our Major Man!”

The pair first announced they were expecting in February, in a joint Instagram post.
In the image, the pair were stood facing one another with the beach in the background, as Light cradled her belly and McCollum leaned down to kiss her.
“God’s little blessing. We Iove you so much already, Baby M,” they wrote in the caption, before McCollum jokingly added in the comments, “Wow! Awesome news! So happy to hear about this! I love you babe! Congrats!”
McCollum and Light met just as his music career was taking off after they were introduced by a mutual friend.
The couple got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot soon after in March 2022 in Tomball, Texas.

After their engagement, McCollum told people that he “couldn’t wait” to get down on one knee.
”I didn’t overthink one thing. I was like, ‘It can’t get any better than her’,” he said.
“There was no doubt in my mind that I was making the right decision. She saved my life in a way. I don’t think I was headed down the right road.”
