Oliver Stark Teases “Fun Emergency” That Bring ABC Shows Together

ABC is creating synergy between their primetime shows, with 9-1-1 and The Bachelor coming together for a crossover episode.

Oliver Stark, who plays Buck on 9-1-1, had recently teased that two shows on the network were about to cross paths.

“It’s not a direct crossover, but there’s a feel of it,” Stark told People in a recent interview.

He continued, “There’s a really fun emergency, and it’s not necessarily the biggest in terms of spectacle, but in the fifth episode of the season, there’s one that kind of touches base with another ABC show. I’m really excited for that just because I think it will be a good watch.”

The outlet then received a photo of the 118 ambulance parked outside the mansion seen on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and The Golden Bachelor.

It’s unclear what storyline will connect the scripted series and the dating competition. Another question is whether current Bachelor Joey Graziadei will appear on 9-1-1.

9-1-1 Season 7 premiered on ABC on March 14 after spending six seasons on Fox. Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, the series follows the lives of L.A. first responders such as police officers, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers. The show currently stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Corinne Massiah and Gavin McHugh.

The Bachelor is in its 28th season on ABC, with Graziadei searching for the love of his life. Graziadei is a teaching tennis pro and was the runner-up on The Bachelorette Season 20, which featured Charity Lawson.

9-1-1 airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, while The Bachelor airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET, both on ABC.
