NRL star couple Tom Burgess and Tahlia Giumelli welcome their third child

It’s a boy for NRL star couple Tom Burgess and his model wife, Tahlia Giumelli!

Early this morning, the couple announced the news they had welcomed a son after Tahlia gave birth on Thursday at Kareena Private Hospital.

The pair, who share two daughters, shared some candid black and white photographs from the birth with fans and wrote: “On the 8/8/24 at 4:04pm we welcomed our beautiful boy into our family with a name to be decided.”

“He is already adored and spoilt by his two big sisters,” they wrote.

“Brought into the world with the help of dad, our amazing obstetrician @dramaniharris and midwives, we are so incredibly thankful to them for allowing @thomasburgess to be a part of this beautiful moment.

“Will be soaking in all the newborn cuddles and enjoying this little newborn bubble,” they finished.

In the incredible images, the couple are pictured meeting their newborn for the first time just moments after birth, and introducing the tiny tot to his siblings.

Underneath the post, fans and followers flocked to congratulate the couple, with former Love Island star Tayla Broad, the wife of AFL star Nathan Broad writing: “Congratulations gorgeous! He’s perfect!”

Tahlia recently said in a post that ‘the countdown’ was on until she gives birth.

The couple, who are based in the Sutherland Shire, are set to move to the UK in a matter of weeks, where Tom, who hails from Dewsbury, will play for the Huddersfield Giants.

He is on a three-year deal and will start playing in 2025.

He’s had a successful career with the Rabbitohs, like his brothers, and 2024 is his final season with the club.
