Nicole Young Shares New Details on Emma Hernan Rumor
Nicole Young is defending herself against comments she made about Emma Hernan on the upcoming eighth season of Selling Sunset.
After both Chrishell Stause, 43, and Chelsea Lazkani, 31, slammed her on Instagram for allegedly lying about Emma, 32, and took aim at the producers, suggesting they have no moral ground and labeling them “disgusting,” Nicole, 38, shared a statement on her Instagram Story.
“Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions,” Nicole wrote in a post shared on August 31. “Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife’s best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumor.”
“As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages,” Nicole continued. “And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of all marriages.”
Below is a screenshot of Nicole’s Instagram Story about the Emma rumor via Us Weekly.
As Selling Sunset fans may recall, Chrishell’s ex-husband, Justin Hartley, 47, was accused of cheating on her with his now-wife, Sofia Pernas, 35, which he denied, and Chelsea alleged that her now-estranged husband, Jeff Lazkani, was unfaithful to her when she filed for divorce in March.
Nicole went on to say that Chrishell and Chelsea were “recklessly and irrelevantly throwing sh*t on the wall to see what sticks.”
In posts shared by Queens of Bravo Plus on Instagram, Chelsea was seen lashing out at Nicole in a series of messages.
“Good morning everyone … [except] for [Nicole Young]!!” she began. “[Nicole Young] you are the most diabolical piece of [trash] I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. Okay let’s see how this works out for you…”
Chelsea also asked her producers, “[Done and Done Productions] where is your moral ground and integrity?? Spreading lies for views is so damaging.”
Then, in another post, in which she tagged Nicole, Bre Tiesi, 33, and Mary Fitzgerald, 44, Chelsea shared, “You lie, placate, steal meanwhile your own [trash] has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve kept quiet until now, but this is not okay.”
Meanwhile, in posts on Chrishell’s Instagram Story, also shared by Queens of Bravo Plus, she too expressed anger toward Nicole and their producers.
“Someone needs to take my phone because … Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??” she asked, along with several angry and cursing emojis. She also included a poll titled “Get Nicole off my screen button” that gave just two options: “Yes!” or “HELL YES!!”
“I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued,” she continued in another post. “Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.”
“[Done and Done Productions] and you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH,” she added.
Emma has not directly addressed the rumor shared on Selling Sunset. Instead, before sharing a pic of her “[loves],” Chrishell and Chelsea, she gave a subtle nod to the buzz around the allegations while on vacation.
In her caption, Emma wrote, “96 unread texts, 53 missed calls, 152 unanswered emails.. Me:”
Selling Sunset season eight begins streaming on Netflix on September 6.
