At New York Comic Con, DC Studios co-head James Gunn was in attendance with the rest of the cast and crew to debut an all-new Creature Commandos trailer.
This new Creature Commandos gives us backstories of the team which we’ll see explored more in the series. Given it’s a James Gunn project, it won’t come as a surprise that it’s a group of heartbroken misfits. And unless I’m mistaken, that’s Nosferata in the same scene. I have no doubt the other villains have been identified online somewhere.
Likewises, fans can spot some iconic DC villains in the trailer, most notably Clayface. In addition, Chemo can be spotted in the cafeteria scene with The Bride.
As previously announced, this original adult animated series that kicks off a new era for the DC Universe will debut Thursday, December 5 on Max followed by one episode weekly until January 16.
