Activision has announced Netflix‘s fan-favorite series Squid Game is coming to Call of Duty. The upcoming event will allow players to earn rewards and play limited-time modes based on the show.
Netflix Squid Game event for Call of Duty begins tomorrow
Between January 3 and 24, players can check out the new Squid Game event for Call of Duty, which celebrates the release of the show’s second season. Themed content will be available for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies mode, as well as Call of Duty: Warzone. Check out the trailer below to get a peek at the new event.
The Squid Game event features five limited time modes. Here is a list of the new modes and where you can play them:
- Red Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Pentathlon (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Squid Game Moshpit (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Dead Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies)
- Squid Game (Call of Duty: Warzone)
During the event, there will be three new Operator Bundles based on the show. The Pink Guards Tracer Pack, The VIPS Tracer Pack, and Young-Hee Tracer Pack will include new skins, finishing moves, blueprints, and more.
Call of Duty is also getting a Squid Game Event Pass that allows players to earn rewards based on the show by garnering XP in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. There is a free track that features the “Player 006” skin as an instant reward. It also includes the “Player 115” skin, Squid Game emblem, and the new Cleaver Melee Weapon. The premium track costs 1100 COD Points and features three weapon blueprints and the “Front Man” skin.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
