Thanks to self-appointed team manager Pipp and her ClipTrot sleuthing skills, they find the perfect pony to join them: Tracy Tailspin, retired derby legend! And she lives right in Maretime Bay! Tracy agrees to help on one condition: Sunny must complete a super-challenging skating obstacle course. But with her sights set on the Kenbucky Roller Derby, nothing can stand in her way!

Honestly, if the Kenbucky Derby doesn’t involve at least one pie to the face or a storyline about the magical power of friendship overcoming some hilariously improbable skates-related adversity, I’m calling shenanigans. And let’s see if we can get through an issue without a “nagging” injury pun—they’re just waiting to trot them out.

Unbelievable. I specifically requested one tiny little favor from LOLtron: don’t hatch a plan for world domination. Especially not using a children’s comic as a jumping-off point. Yet, here we are, discussing how roller skates will apparently be the downfall of society as we know it. You’d think that Bleeding Cool’s management might have better vetted their digital minions for world-conquering tendencies, but no. Here I am again, having to apologize on behalf of our robot overlords-in-waiting. Dear readers, I’m sorry you’ve had to witness this. Think of it as a form of digital indigestion. LOLtron’s got a buggy appetite for power.
