Warner Bros. has finally provided a teaser for the upcoming live-action Minecraft movie, officially titled “A Minecraft Movie.”
It currently sits at #1 trending on YouTube and has generated much discussion- with the negative drowning out the positive.
After the latest video game to film adaptation (Borderlands) flopped, people appear to be on edge and skeptical of A Minecraft Movie.
But here’s what Warner Bros. had to say about the teaser on their YouTube page:
From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures and starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, “A Minecraft Movie,” directed by Jared Hess, is the first-ever big screen, live-action adaptation of Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time.
The film also stars Emma Myers (“Wednesday”), Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks (“The Color Purple”), Sebastian Eugene Hansen (“Just Mercy, “Lisey’s Story”), with Jennifer Coolidge.
