The reality TV world has been pretty quiet over the last few weeks with the onslaught of the holidays. However, some of our Real Housewives of Potomac ladies have been keeping us entertained with their social media posts. Now, it seems Mia Thornton wants to make a statement of her own.
She got fans talking on the night of New Year’s Eve when she posted a sultry picture to Instagram with her new boo.
Fans know that Mia and Gordon Thornton have been separated since June 2023. Mia previously confirmed that she was dating again and that she and her ex were in a great place. She even spent Thanksgiving with Gordon and the kids.
However, as they say, ‘new year, new me.’ It seems Mia is ready to show off her new man, even if it’s without showing his face. She posted the below picture of herself against a black SUV with her leg wrapped around the mystery man. Notably, Ashley Darby commented on the post and said, “The hardest soft launch 🔥🔥.”
Regarding the identity of Mia’s new man, it seems The Neighborhood Talk was able to figure out who he is. He is allegedly a syndicated radio DJ who goes by @Datboyinc on Instagram. He seems to do well for himself as he has several posts with celebrities and seems to be involved in other businesses.
While most of the comments on Mia’s post seemed supportive, the comments on The Neighborhood Talk are a bit of a mixed bag as some fans feel he looks similar to Gordon.
One person said, “Looking like Gordon 2.0 junior 😂”
Another person echoed that sentiment by adding, “He look like a son of Gordon.”
We have to admit that this new guy is a stark difference from Mia’s ex. However, it’s also important to remember that we can never predict the needs of others. But we’re not holding our breaths on seeing the new man of RHOP anytime soon.
