Makasi Teams Up With Richie Loop for Uplifting Tribal House Anthem, "Dumski"

Makasi has reunited with Richie Loop to deliver an electrifying tribal house anthem, “DUMSKI.”

Out via Meritocracy Records, the tracks marks a dynamic reunion for the two artists after the success of 2020’s “King Of Kings,” which released under Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House banner. Makasi is widely known for his diverse sound and energetic stage presence, seamlessly blending a wide range of genres. Starting out by performing all around Antwerp and Amsterdam, he has now graced some of the world’s most iconic stages and festivals, among them Tomorrowland, Ultra, Sunburn, Balaton Sound and many more.

Richie Loop, a Jamaican powerhouse in the dance music scene, smoothly brings his signature style to the collaboration. With a string of Beatport chart-topping hits and collaborations with Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet and many more, his versatility adds an exciting dimension to “Dumski.”

The festival-ready single is the first taste of Makasi’s upcoming body of work, which is inspired by the West African and Latin music that characterized his childhood. Equipped with intoxicating vocals, thumping kicks and a healthy dose of ethnic instruments, “DUMSKI” flows from sultry, Afro house-inspired sections to tribal drops filled with heavy drum hits and groovy bass.

Take a listen to “DUMSKI” below.
