All these cards are designed for the Modern gameplay format, which lets you play with all decks from the 8th Edition core set and beyond. The previous two Modern Horizons sets were quite popular, and it’s bound to be the same for Modern Horizons 3. The first thing to note about these preorders from Amazon is that some of the default listings are not sold or fulfilled by Amazon itself, but by third-party sellers. At the very least, it’s best to find something shipped by Amazon, as these typically get Prime members free two-day shipping. This costs $73 at the moment–it was $94.50 originally at Amazon–and includes nine Modern Horizons 3 play boosters, one traditional foil alt-art card, 30 land cards, a spindown life counter, a storage box, and two reference cards.
