That was a hell of a great ending for Marvel’s Loki Season 2! It’s great to see that Marvel still has it in them to tell a great story. I loved the Loki story arc in this series and the way his story came to a close was pretty spectacular.
According to Loki executive producer Kevin Wright, Marvel and Disney might actually release the season finale of Loki in theaters, which would be really cool to see on the big screen! During an interview with CB, Wright was asked if we’d ever see Loki episodes on the big screen, and he said:
“I would love it, and I’ll say this… obviously, the sound mixing is different for streaming versus theatrical. We did do a theatrical mix of the finale, and that was always like a, ‘Who knows?’ It’s something we talked about with Disney, depending on when the strikes ended and getting everybody together. Depending on how people react to this finale, we’ve got a version that could be.”
Hopefully, that happens! That season finale was pretty epic and it’s incredibly exciting to think about how that end will impact the MCU in the future and how it might be addressed.
