Lindsay Hubbard shared a series of photos of herself in a bikini while enjoying a getaway in Anguilla and was immediately met with backlash from her fans and followers, many of whom expressed concern over her weight loss.
Weeks after the Summer House cast member, 37, posted a rib-baring image that sparked rumors she’d “given up eating,” Lindsay, who endured a heartbreaking split from Carl Radke, 39, at the end of last summer, returned to social media with a series of new images of herself, including one on a boat.
“Caught the fresh catch of the day,” Lindsay proclaimed in the caption of her March 24 post, which featured her holding up a fish in a bikini and short-sleeved geometric coverup.
As soon as Lindsay’s post was shared, she was flooded with messages from her online audience about her size.
“Tooooooo skinny. Eat a burger,” one person advised.
“Lindsay found Ozempic,” alleged a second.
“‘How many sandwiches have you made me?!’ None!! The answer is none,” wrote a third, signaling to past comments Lindsay made on Summer House. “Girl NEEDS a sandwich! Someone. Make. Her. A. Sandwich!!”
Someone else added, “The first pic is rough. No muscle at all, waaaaay too skinny. Sorry.”
Lindsay also showcased her physique in another Instagram post, which saw her rocking a printed, strapless bikini.
“Vacay mode activated,” she said with the pic.
In addition to those accusing Lindsay of using Ozempic and looking too thin, there were also those who came to her defense, noting that grownups should not be on social media discussing the size of someone else.
“Reaaaallly weird a bunch of adults to comment on someone’s body,” someone stated.
Then, another critic took aim at the behavior they’ve seen from Lindsay on Summer House.
“We don’t care how skinny you are, a good body doesn’t change how awful you are to literally everyone,” they said.
“Wow these comments are horrendous. Stop commenting on people’s bodies. It’s 2024,” added another person.
