LEGO’s new Gotham City set from Batman: The Animated Series has set a record for the largest Batman set the company has made. This is a pretty big accomplishment, since LEGO has featured the DC hero quite a few times in the past. LEGO also partnered with DC for The LEGO Batman Movie. Still, this latest Gotham City set has managed to be bigger than any Batman products LEGO has made in the past.

LEGO’s Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City set holds the record for the largest Batman set with 4,210 pieces. This narrowly edges out the previous record holder, which had 4,167 pieces. LEGO’s new take on Gotham City can be seen below:


Instead of a traditional LEGO set, this version of Gotham City offers a wide shot of the city in the style of Batman: The Animated Series. Close up images of the assembled set show that there are plenty of little Easter eggs hidden throughout the city, showcasing some of the show’s iconic characters, like Joker and Catwoman.
