Lala Kent is opening up about the one thing she never shared with the cameras after moving on from her long-running role on Vanderpump Rules.

As she, Scheana Shay, 39, and Tom Schwartz, 42, face reports claiming they will soon be featured on the second season of The Valley, the mother of two admitted what would be “hardest” for her to show as she shared when she began “mourning” her time on the series, revealed she is “at peace,” and looked ahead to what’s next.

“I’ve never shown myself as a mom,” Lala, 34, revealed to Parade on December 12. “I think that would be the hardest, because I hold motherhood so sacred. I love that it’s been off-limits, where it’s just for me, and my kid and my household, I think that that would be a huge transition for me. Showing how I do things as a mom.”

After learning that Pump Rules would be rebooted with a new cast, Lala was glad to have closure.

“I don’t think it was any secret after that finale episode that it just felt very final,” she explained, giving a nod to the final episode of season 11, which featured her lashing out at Ariana Madix, 39, for refusing to film with Tom Sandoval, 42, after discovering his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 30.

“I think I started the mourning process right after I purged, and so it didn’t come as a shock to me when I got the call, it just was kind of like the cherry on top of a fantastic chapter in my life,” she shared. “I feel very at peace.”

Lala is also feeling “the graduation effect” and “only remembering the good times and blocking out the really hard moments that are hard to share on camera.”

According to Lala, she’s “extremely grateful” for the time she spent on the Bravo reality show.

Vanderpump Rules catapulted me into doing what I love to do. It has brought so much opportunity,” she admitted. “I will hold that chapter near and dear to my heart.”

“I am proud of my cast,” she continued. “It doesn’t last forever and you can’t have all of your eggs in one basket. I feel like the Vanderpump Rules cast really did a good job of setting themselves up and I don’t think this is the last you will see of these people … I just want them to be able to move on from this whole thing and start something great and thrive. I think everyone who was a part of the cast deserves that.”

As for her own future, Lala said that everything she wants “has shifted” since her early days at SUR Restaurant, where she was introduced as an aspiring actress.

“It’s right now about getting the brand [Give Them Lala] where it needs to be, having it ring true to who I am right now. What has stuck is, I want an empire, and I won’t stop until I have that,” she declared.

Vanderpump Rules is expected to begin filming season 12 with an all-new cast in early 2025.
