Lala Kent shared a DM revealing which of her Vanderpump Rules castmates allegedly paid for Instagram followers, and hinted that the reunion made her “look at everyone differently.”
Lala recently teased that she and Ariana Madix got into it at the reunion, though the details remain a mystery. Throughout the current season, Lala has called out Ariana’s friendship ultimatum over her ex Tom Sandoval.
“You guys, someone DM’d [my] podcast[‘s] page,” said Lala on her ‘Give Them Lala’ podcast, via @Byewighellodrama on Instagram. “And they said, ‘Don’t know if you’re interested in this, but I found this TikTok, and it’s a Reddit thread on who has bought followers from Vanderpump Rules.’”
Before reading the report, Lala clarified that she isn’t certain it’s true, and the followers could have been purchased “anytime,” even before they joined Vanderpump Rules.
She first read that Stassi Schroeder has the most followers – 3.3 million – and none of them were purchased.
But Katie Maloney has 43,000 ‘inactive’ followers, alleging they have purchased bots, according to the DM.
“Next is me. 2.63 million [total]. Zero! Zero inactive, b**ches!” exclaimed Lala, who said she wouldn’t purchase followers because it’s too expensive. “I just know from this person I used to be with who used to [buy followers]. I’m like, ‘you’re spending that much to get your followers up each month? You’re crazy! I would never.’”
The DM also claimed Ariana’s inactive followers were 707,000, while both Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval had “zero.”
“So [Sandoval] may f**k the best friend, but he is not purchasing followers,” said Lala. “That’s where he draws the line!”
The report claimed James Kennedy has over “17,000” inactive, and his girlfriend Ally has 66,000+.
Per the DM, Kristen Doute has 252,000 inactive, Lisa Vanderpump 477,000, Scheana Shay 48,000+, Jax Taylor 953,000, and Brittany Cartwright 937,000.
In the same episode, Lala also hinted at the reunion’s impact.
“It’s gonna be really hard for me, just so you guys know, going forward and talking about these episodes,” she said, via @tasteofreality on Instagram. “Because when I left that reunion, I truly look at everyone differently.”
