Kyle Richards opened up about her lack of a prenup with Mauricio Umansky while appearing on Jeff Lewis‘ radio show earlier this week, revealing what she would get if the two of them ultimately divorce.

In addition to sharing where they stand with one another today, confirming Mauricio, 53, did not want to make their separation public, and revealing the hardest part of their split, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, explained how their assets would be divided if they decide to formally end their decades-long marriage.

“We did not have a prenup. My husband did not have a penny when I married him… He was in the clothing business when I met him making no money. My mom lent us money when were first married. There was one Christmas we didn’t have any money for Christmas presents. My mom gave him money and his grandparents helped us so we built everything together,” Kyle revealed on the January 23 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.

Kyle makes it clear that if they divorce, she is entitled to “half” of everything.

“He didn’t have any money when I married him and it’s our money. Let’s be very clear about that. It’s very clean cut. Everything is half regardless,” she continued.

Looking back at the moment in which their separation was first confirmed last summer, Kyle said Mauricio wasn’t on board with publicizing their breakup.

“We’re all in therapy now. It makes it easier for me because also, Mo did not want to say so I was in a weird position. I’m not going to say, ‘Too bad! I’m on a reality show.’ He’s not signed up for the show. He didn’t even want to when it came out that we were having a problem and I put that post on Instagram. He didn’t want me to say we were having a problem,” she shared.

While Kyle and Mauricio’s future remains up in the air, Kyle told Jeff, 53, that the two of them have been able to maintain their home lives as usual, aside from their sleeping arrangements.

“We live together in the same house in different bedrooms,” Kyle revealed. “He spent a lot of time in Aspen recently while I was here, and then I went there for two weeks with our daughters. If you didn’t know us, you would think everything was normal. I’m making dinner, we’re together but we’re in different rooms.”

As for the toughest part of their split, Kyle said it’s been a struggle adapting to her identity.

“It’s really tough. I do feel like my entire identity is being a wife and a mom, and that’s been really hard to wrap my head around,” she explained. “And that’s what I think learning who I am without that even though obviously no matter what, I’m a mom. I have four daughters, and they are my best friends, but he’s also my friend, and I do love him very much, and that’s what’s also hard.”
