Kendrick Lamar Earns New Chart Milestone With ‘Like That’

Kendrick Lamar has earned himself a new chart milestone as “Like That” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week in a row.

According to Billboard, the diss track aimed at Drake and J. Cole notched up 46.1 million streams over the last week and 10.1 million radio airplay impressions, in addition to 6,000 sales-equivalent units.

The song, taken from Future and Metro Boomin’s joint album We Don’t Trust You, has also claimed a second week atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.

“Like That” is now Kendrick’s longest-running No. 1 single on the Hot 100, besting previous efforts “HUMBLE.” and Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood (Remix).”

Despite missing out on the top spot, Beyoncé is otherwise dominating the Hot 100, placing three songs inside the top 10.

Former No. 1 single “Texas Hold ‘Em” moved up to No. 2, while “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus and Queen B’s cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” debuted at No. 6 and No. 7, respectively.

All 23 songs from Bey’s Cowboy Carter album cracked the chart, meaning she now has more than 100 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 throughout her career.

Meanwhile, Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You as a whole has been a commercial success.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this month with 251,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, the second highest tally this year behind Cowboy Carter (407,000).

The eagerly-anticipated collaborative project slid to No. 2 on this week’s chart after earning an additional 131,000 units.

Pluto and Metro are destined to make another dent on the charts in the coming weeks, with their second album of the year, We Still Don’t Trust You, arriving on Friday (April 12).
