Popular comedian Ken Flores has died at the age of 28, with his family confirming the sad news.
In a a statement posted on his Instagram account on Thursday, his family said they were sharing the news “with great sadness” and said his death was “untimely”.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores,” they wrote.

“Please respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devasted [sic] by this loss.”
The post was shared to the late comedian’s 331,000 Instagram followers.
“RIP legend <3 <3 <3,” Harry Jowsey commented underneath the post.

“Devastated to say the least. Thoughts with his family and his girl. I hate this,” another said.
“Will never forget the memories and laughs. Fly high brother,” another wrote.
Latin XL, a comedy showcase show which Flores reportedly helped establish, penned a tribute to the late stand up comedian following news of his death.

“Kenyi Flores passed away on 1/28/2025 at the age of 28,” it read.
“He was a brother to all of us. A dear friend. An inspiration. And frankly the best.”

“LatinXL WOULD NOT exist without Ken. The XL was a nod to Ken for having an “XTRA large personality” and being such a force,” they added in part of the post.
Flores was in the middle of a tour when he died.

He started his Ken Flores 2025 Butterfly Effect Tour in January and was scheduled to run until April.
The dates would have seen him perform stand up in places including Nashville, Austin, Sacramento and San Diego.
