The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for its 16th season, with several new faces. Among them is Kelli Ferrell, who is quickly becoming a fan favorite. So far, she has been upfront with the cameras and her castmates about her messy divorce and the amount of stress it still causes her, so much so that she feels the need to have a bodyguard on occasion. Now, her divorce judgment with Chuvalo Mark Ferrell has been revealed.
For the sake of history, Kelli and Chuvalo walked down the aisle in August of 2011. They have three daughters together, but she filed for divorce in 2022. At the time, the marriage was ending because there was “no hope for reconciliation.” She has alluded to multiple forms of abuse at his hands on RHOA so far. Notably, he was also jailed for contempt of court last year.
Recently, InTouch Weekly obtained the judgment and decree from their messy divorce, which was signed on September 23rd of last year. This came after both parties appeared in court on two different occasions in August.
Regarding the judgment, they will share joint legal custody of their three children. However, Kelli has primary custody and the right to make decisions for the kids’ educational and nonemergency healthcare needs, and he has visitation rights with the kids.
In terms of the division of money, he was ordered to pay $3,991 each month for child support. He also has to take care of health insurance payments for the three kids. The former couple also split the proceeds from the sale of their marital home. Kelli got $175,000, whereas he received $90,000.

The court order then said, “The parties owned and operated a restaurant together during the marriage, Nana’s Chicken N Waffles, and through that business venture, the parties incurred various debts. As it relates to the marital debts, the parties guaranteed multiple business loans from various third parties and creditors.”
Taxes are also an issue. According to the documents, “During their separation, the parties defaulted on accrued federal sales taxes and Georgia state tax liabilities stemming from business operations from 2017 to 2022.”
It continues to say that he “disposed of approximately $790,000 of marital assets” during their separation. In relation to this, the judge said, “Although [Chuvalo] disposed of numerous marital assets, [Kelli] testified that several of the items were gifts the parties gave one another during their marriage.”
The divorce judgment doesn’t end there. The RHOA newbie was also awarded all the furniture from the household, which is worth $45,000. She also received a 2021 Navy Blue Cadillac Escalade. Additionally, she has a Rolex Oyster watch, a diamond necklace, and her wedding ring set.
Regarding the ex-husband being thrown in jail, a judge approved this on August 7th after he failed to pay $14,889. He was booked into the Rockdale County jail and got out on August 14th.
