Katie Maloney Talks Raquel Leviss “Actively” Hurting Ariana Madix

Katie Maloney reacted to the launch of Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ new podcast and shared how Raquel “actively” hurt Ariana Madix relating to Scandoval. Plus, on the premiere episode of her and Dayna Kathan‘s new podcast, she also discussed The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four finale, which featured Monica Garcia being exposed for her involvement with an Instagram troll account, Reality Von Tease.

During a moment on the Disrespectfully podcast, Katie, 38, reacted to Raquel’s new podcast, as well as what she feels is Raquel’s inability to be accountable for her months-long affair with Tom Sandoval, 41.

“I’m not gonna listen to [the podcast]. When are you just gonna be like, ‘I royally f*cked up, period, end of sentence?’” Katie wondered, via Instagram. “You actively made choices on a daily for months and months to hurt [Ariana].”

“That really chaps my a** when she minimizes her friendship [with Ariana]. Not cute,” Dayna agreed, then signaling to Raquel’s appearance on Bethenny Frankel‘s podcast, Just B With Bethenny, slamming it as a “mess” as Katie compared it to a “dumpster fire.”

“Lies on top of lies on top of lies, rewriting history, completely minimizing her involvement, like you said. No real accountability,” Dayna described. “You went and stayed in this woman’s home after you went and f*cked [Tom Sandoval] in her home, [and] after you had been caught.”

Although Dayna said she hopes Raquel has “had growth,” that doesn’t seem evident.

“I’m not really seeing that as far as her public comments,” she noted. “It looks like what she has worked on is her crisis PR spin. That’s what she’s been peddling. I don’t blame her for making a podcast. What I blame her for, though, is coming out with a podcast to tell your side of things. There is no side.”

Katie also shared her thoughts on RHOSLC after Monica, 40, was deemed as a “fan” and a “hater,” with many Reality Von Tease posts targeting her co-stars. Katie likened the situation to her “worst nightmare” while shading Monica’s antics as “appalling.”

“What happened with Monica and that whole participation in this troll account is actually my worst nightmare,” Katie admitted on the January 10 episode of Disrespectfully, via Heavy. “The fact that she did infiltrate [their friend group] that way and wasn’t totally honest and open.”

According to Katie, she felt Monica should’ve been honest with her co-stars from the get-go.

“There’s a way to go about it, but the fact that she didn’t and then when they called her out, she doubled down on it, it was so gross. And the name-calling,” Katie noted. “That’s my worst nightmare because I’m always very cautious when people come into our group or on the show. Because I don’t know what their motives are and I don’t trust people.”

“There’s nothing wrong with not trusting someone when they’re coming into a group and you’re sharing things that are intimate. It was appalling,” she added.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30, at 8/7c on Bravo.
