Building on the success of his 2017 holiday album, his new release, Kaskade Christmas Volume 2, promises a festive blend of his signature electronic style with classic Yuletide melodies.
Once more, Kaskade’s unique efforts at the intersection of holiday and dance music are proving to be highly collaborative. Driven by spellbinding minimal house melodies and soothing soundscapes glossing over the sonic spectrum like fresh snow, Kaskade continues the legacy of his original while adding some fresh holiday cheer for fans to embrace.
From the opening jingle of the bells in “Caroling Caroling” to the bright, twinkling keys of “December Love,” Kaskade’s efforts to capture the elusive spirit of holiday euphoria are ever-present. Moreover, he’s brought tenured collaborators and fresh faces alike into the fold, including Late Night Alumni, Lipless, Cayson Renshaw and The Moth & The Flame, among many other artists.
