Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber baby: Pattie Mallette reacts to birth of grandson Jack Blues Bieber

Justin and Hailey Bieber are not the only ones celebrating the arrival of their first baby, with the in-laws weighing in.

Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette was overjoyed by the news, sharing the photo her son shared of the baby’s foot to her own Instagram story.

“OH MY HEART,” she wrote, “WELCOME BABY JACK!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!”

“THANK THE LORD WHAT A MIRACLE!,” she said of her first grandchild.

Mallette’s excitement over the birth of her grandchild has landed her in hot water in the past, with the 49-year-old accidentally spurring rumours that the Biebers were expecting twins with a public message to Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin.

After he had reposted the couple’s maternity photo shoot images back in May, Mallette had responded, “Congratulations Grandpa! WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE CUTEST GRAND-BABIES EVER!”

The plural in “grand-babies” spurred rumours that there was more than one baby Bieber, which she had to shut down.

Pattie’s excitement is understandable as Justin is her only child so this is her first grandchild.

This time, Baldwin shared Pattie’s post and added, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”

Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, seems to have a special stake in the baby’s arrival, with the newborn being named “Jack”, which is his middle name.

Jeremy also acknowledged the milestone on his socials, posting to X, formerly Twitter with one word: “Papa”.

Justin had shared the news of his fatherhood with the world in an Instagram post yesterday, sharing a photo of his wife’s fingers stroking their newborn child’s foot.

Justin captioned the shot: “Welcome home Jack Blues Bieber,” also revealing the tot’s name.
