Justin Bieber has made it abundantly clear he’s an Ariana Greenblatt fan.
On Friday, the Barbie actress took to Instagram to promote her latest film Fear Street: Prom Queen, which began streaming on Netflix the same day. Alongside a caption declaring her love for the horror genre, the 17-year-old shared a carousel of photos of herself in a black sequin minidress accessorized with black tights, black gloves, and a red rose. And shortly after, the Peaches singer took to her comments section to voice his admiration. The 31-year-old wrote:
“I love youuuuuuuuu”

Inneresting… In response, fans QUICKLY chimed in to make their varying opinions known. Some felt the Canadian pop star’s comment was totally inappropriate considering Ariana is a minor and he’s 14 years older than her… Not to mention he’s a married father:
“Isn’t she a minor?”
“he loves anyone but his wife”
“mind you, he is a grown man with a child and a wife”
“GET AWAY FROM HER”
“hes so messy”
“Creepy”
“this is kinda weird..”
However, others vehemently defended him:
“He’s just showing her love Imao if you have a problem with that go judge the other adults in the comments showing her love”
“So sick to see people came here jus to see JB comment??? Guy’s she’s the IT Girl and y’all should appreciate her”
“For those who complain … Of course he’s NOT in love with her! And no, he’s not trying to be creepy! Of course he loves his wife and kid! What’s wrong with you people? A third group, however, couldn’t help but point out how much Ariana resembles Selena Gomez in the photos:

Oof… This, of course, comes after a wave of criticism aimed at the Baby singer starting off with the Hailey Bieber Vogue drama and continuing on with his cozy onstage performance with SZA.
